A Weighbridge was recently installed using piled foundations in the highly reactive soils at Horsham City Council’s Landfill Site in Victoria.
Supplied and installed by Ultrahawke in Campbellfield Melbourne, the piles were driven to a minimum depth of 4.8 metres to ensure long term Weighbridge stability.
Ultrahawke’s Weighbridges are Australian Made with all fabrication done at Ultrahawke’s own Weighbridge Manufacturing Facility. To eliminate premature metal fatigue caused by rusting, all steel work is hot dip galvanised for strong corrosion resistance.
Ultrahawke’s concrete deck weighbridge measures 20 metres long by 3.5 metres wide and is supported on 6 heavy duty Flintec stainless steel load cells for a weighing capacity of 60 tonnes. A large digit remote display was fitted externally on the Weighbridge Office to allow truck drivers to confirm their vehicle’s weights while a set of manually operated traffic light control vehicle movements across the Weighbridge.
Certified for trade use, the weighbridge was also supplied with Ultrahawke’s Refuse/Recycling Manager Weighbridge Software to track all waste deliveries. Pre-installed on a supplied PC, the weighbridge software is connected to a docket printer to print hardcopies of all weighing transactions.
